Our Impact
Since its inception, Lifelong Skills Training has seen its enrollment grow from 10 students in 2018 to 90+ students at the start of the 2025 – 2026 Academic Year.
Our teaching staff, predominately composed of parents and guardians, highlights our unique operational model and demonstrates our commitment to empowering the families of those with special needs.
The ripple effect of our efforts extends to our alumni, as past students have successfully transitioned to jobs or self-employment, and where possible return to further support our programme and calendar of events.
Meet Arianna
One of Lifelong’s first students, Arianna excelled in both her academic and vocational training. Demonstrating a keenness for supporting her peers, Arianna’s compassionate nature led to her transitioning from student to teaching assistant where she works closely with those enrolled in the Development Skills programme.
Meet Dominick
A current student of Lifelong Skills Training, Dominic enjoys both the vocational and creative aspects of our programme. He has a passion for Visual Arts and is the proud recipient of two silver 2025 NIFCA Visual Arts Awards for his pieces titled “Beauty in Nature”, a theme he was able to explore through our creative programme.
Meet Patricia
Patricia’s son attends Lifelong and has loved his time with the school. Patricia tells us:
“This is a blessing. It’s a blessing because since my son started coming here, he has developed so much responsibility, his independence, everything. I couldn’t ask for more. He comes home with so many nice stories. He talks about everybody – I’ve never, ever heard of a bad experience”.
